LOARA SAXONS
Coach: Mitch Olson
Last season: 0-10 overall, 0-5 league
Scouting report: Mitch Olson and his coaching staff are upbeat about having their first full offseason with the program. The Saxons are looking for their first victory since Oct. 31, 2014. Loara plans to play it down the middle on offense. Boogie Augustine will get the snaps under center. At running back, Loara hopes that the bruising figure of Martin Ramirez (5-9, 180) can wear defenses down as the game goes on.
Bottom line: The Saxons must learn how to win again, but the foundations of football are built on the line of scrimmage, and the Saxons believe that both lines are a strength.
Players to watch: Boogie Augustine, QB/CB, Sr.; Salvador Campoverde, DE, Sr.; Brandon Jefferson, DT, Jr.; Frankie Nocella, WR/SS; Selvin Ordonez, OG, Jr.
