DANA HILLS DOLPHINS

Scouting report: After going 6-2 over the past two seasons in the Sea View League, Dana Hills moves back to the South Coast League. Dana Hills was 0-4 when it was most recently in the South Coast, 2011. The Dolphins have eight returning starters. Among them is running back Brian Scott, who rushed for 895 yards and eight touchdowns last year while averaging 7 yards a carry. Linebacker Brett Bill was team defensive MVP and All-Sea View League first team in 2013. Senior quarterback Cole Wilber replaces last season’s Sea View offensive player of the year, Mac Vail, but Wilber showed enough promise in the offseason to land a scholarship offer from Northern Arizona. Dana Hills will need to score an upset or two in league to contend for a spot in the West Valley Division playoffs.
