1. ADOREE’ JACKSON

Serra (Gardena)

CB, 5-10, 170

Commitment: USC

The Serra prospect train continues as Jackson is one of the top athletes in this class and potential Olympian in track.

2. KYLE ALLEN

Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, Ariz.)

QB, 6-3, 195

Commitment: Texas A&M

The consensus top quarterback in the nation is an athletic pocket passer lauded for his fundamentals.

3. JOHN ‘Juju’ SMITH

Long Beach Poly

S, 6-1, 205

Commitment: USC

Scouts project the two-way star to land at safety, given his explosiveness, physicality and instincts.

4. JOE MIXON

Freedom (Oakley)

RB, 6-2, 210

Commitment: Oklahoma

Well-rounded with a good frame, he contributes in a lot of ways and could end up at another position.

He’s expected to move to guard, where his power, size and mobility are better suited.

6. CASEY TUCKER

Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.)

OT, 6-6, 290

Commitment: Stanford

His footwork and toughness complement an ideal frame for tackle.

7. ROYCE FREEMAN

Imperial (Imperial)

RB, 6-0, 225

Commitment: Oregon

His strong build and bruising nature make him a potential every-down back.

8. MICHIAH QUICK

Central East (Fresno)

WR, 6-0, 170

Commitment: Oklahoma

He’s a blazing playmaker and regarded as one of the top skill players in this class.

9. KELLER CHRYST

Palo Alto

QB, 6-4, 230

Commitment: Stanford

Scout.com’s Greg Biggins says: “He looks like, body-wise, an NFL quarterback. … He just needs to develop.”

10. BUDDA BAKER

Bellevue (Bellevue, Wash.)

S, 5-10, 175

Commitment: Washington

The speedy playmaker de-committed from Oregon and reportedly narrowed his list to Washington and UCLA.

11. VIANE TALAMAIVAO

Centennial (Corona)

OG, 6-3, 300

Commitment: USC

This talented guard flipped his commitment from Alabama to USC, which also has La Habra’s Toa Lobendahn in its recruiting class.

12. DALTON SCHULTZ

Bingham (South Jordan, Utah)

TE, 6-5, 235

Commitment: Stanford

Arguably the top tight end in the West, Schultz caught nine TDs for the Utah state power last season.

13. CHRISTIAN McCAFFREY

Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, Colo.)

RB, 6-0, 190

Commitment: Stanford

The highly recruited back had offers from Florida State among others, along with 1,858 rushing yards in ’13

14. BRYCE DIXON

St. Bonaventure (Ventura)

TE, 6-4, 230

Commitment: USC

Trojans lost TE Xavier Grimble to the NFL draft but have a potential gem in Dixon

15. JALEN BROWN

Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, Ariz.)

WR, 6-2, 185

Commitment: Oregon

This elite receiver had all the stats in 2013: 52 catches for 1,229 yards and 19 TDs for a 14-0 team.
