OCVarsity has started releasing its boys volleyball preview for the 2017 season.
TOP PLAYERS TO WATCH
Spencer Olivier, Beckman: Olivier is coming off of a spectactular year that helped him earn first-team All-County and All-CIF honors. The Long Beach State-bound senior should be one of the area’s more dynamic attackers.
Garrett Zolg, Mater Dei: The Monarchs have been in good hands with Zolg running the offense as their setter. The two-time Trinity League MVP enters his senior season and will have the Monarchs in the mix.
Cole Pender, Newport Harbor: Pender was Sunset League co-MVP last year. He recently committed to UCLA and has the Sailors poised for a big season. He earned second-team All-County honors last season.

Kyler Presho, San Clemente: Presho is one of top middle-blockers in the nation. He is headed to Stanford and earned second-team All-County honors last season.
Noah Franklin, Huntington Beach: The senior outside hitter has been on the varsity level for a couple of years and is primed for a breakout season. He recently signed wtih USC.
