He rushed for a school single-game record of 338 yards with five touchdowns as the Fighting Irish defeated Cypress, 43-28, in an Empire League game. Johar, a 5-foot-6, 150-pounds senior, had 40 carries and on defense had an interception. Kennedy (5-4 overall, 3-1 in league) beat Cypress for the first time in seven years clinched a playoff berth for the first time in four years. Johar is averaging 134 yards a game and 7 yards a carry.
