Laguna Hills junior wide receiver Logan Montgomery (6-0, 175) and Servite junior quarterback Tyler Lytle (6-4, 200) have been offered by Cornell.
Montgomery, a third-team All-County pick last season, also is generating interest from Yale, Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth along with Stanford, new Hawks coach Mike Maceranka reports.
The highly-recruited Lytle also has been offered by Cornell, coming off a 1-9 season in 2015, including a 1-6 record in the Ivy League.
Lytle also has been offered recently by Arizona State and Illinois, which has hired NFL veteran Lovie Smith as its coach. The Sun Devils’ scholarship offer Sunday gives Lytle 16 offers.
