Mater Dei’s football team captured the first major 7-on-7 passing tournament of the offseason, defeating Trinity League rival St. John Bosco, 14-12, in the finals of the San Juan Hills-hosted Gunslinger tournament.
The next top tournament arrives May 30 with the Air Strike at Dana Hills.
