Thursday’s scheduled start to the 32-team Villa Park Classic, one of the top girls water polo tournaments of the season, has been cancelled due to expected thunder and lightning this afternoon in Orange County, tournament organizer John Kulisich announced moments ago.

Orange Lutheran and Los Alamitos both qualified for the Division 1 playoffs last season.
