The University High girls tennis team improved its record to 10-0 with two more dominating wins last week.
The Trojans, ranked No. 1 in Orange County and No. 2 in CIF Division 1, defeated Northwood and Irvine in Pacific Coast League matches.
University got a strong effort from its doubles lineup to beat Northwood, 15-3, on Oct. 8 at Northwood.
Northwood, ranked fifth in the county, suffered just its second loss of the season.
In doubles, the teams of Sarah Mae Garcia and Kyara Sutton and Michelle Maddox and Judy Kam each swept three sets for University. The Trojans also got a strong effort from regular doubles player Danielle Pham, who was moved into the singles lineup for the match.
Pham swept her three sets, including beating Northwood No. 1 player Chloe Pham.
Chloe Pham won two of three sets to lead Northwood.
