An end-of-the-season canine pool party at Six Flags Magic Mountain’s water park will let pet owners jump in the water and play with their puppies, poodles, Labrador Retrievers, Irish Setters and Portuguese water dogs.

The first-ever Paw Pool-ooza at the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park next to the Valencia amusement park will be held for one day only on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Dogs of any size and breed that are social and non-aggressive are invited to splash and play with their human friends and family during the special event on the last day of the water park season. Small dogs will have access to the Castaway Cove water play area featuring waterfalls, water cannons and shallow pools. All dogs will be able to swim in the Forgotten Sea wave pool (sans waves).

A “Yappy Hour” will offer specialty food and drinks, including puppuccinos.

Pet owners can enter the water up to their knees to assist their dogs, but can not swim with their dogs. Dogs must be spayed or neutered and have proof of current vaccinations. Pet owners can bring up to two dogs and must sign a release waiver.

The $25 Paw Pool-ooza on Sat, Oct. 12 from 12- 4 p.m. includes water park admission and parking. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the L.A. County Animal Care Foundation.
