Orange County got a surprise sprinkle on Saturday. Meteorologists say the cloudy weather with a chance of more sprinkles will continue through Wednesday.
“We’re looking at a moist southeast flow and a monsoon pattern,” said Tina Stall, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in San Diego. “But most of the rain will be over the mountains and none of it will reach the ground.”
Significant rain is not expected, she said.
On Saturday, the amount of rainfall was “not measurable,” but the cloud cover and light rain will bring down temperatures over the next few days, Stall said.
