The National Football Foundation/Orange County Chapter’s deadlines for nominees for its Scholar-Athlete Awards Dinner is Friday.
High school nominees must be all-league first team and have a grade-point average of 3.5 or better. Community college and Chapman University nominees must be all-conference first team and have a GPA of 3.3 or better.
The dinner event is March 11 at Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove. Seventy players were honored at last year’s dinner. Several received scholarship monies.
