It will be El Toro vs. Aliso Niguel in one Loara Tournament semifinal game and San Clemente vs. Ayala of Chino Hills in the other semifinal Tursday at Glover Stadium.
San Clemente plays Ayala at 2 p.m. El Toro-Aliso Niguel is at 7 p.m.
El Toro, last season’s CIF-Southern Section Division 1 champion and the No. 1 team in this week’s CIF-SS Division 1 poll, won the Loara Tournament championship in 2016.
Aliso Niguel, No. 8 in Division 1, defeated Sonora, Long Beach Millikan and Dana Hills to get to the Loara Tournament championship game. El Toro’s tournament wins are over J.W. North of Riverside, La Mirada and Woodbridge.
San Clemente, No. 9 in Division 1, in the tournament beat El Modena, Lakewood and Yorba Linda. Ayala, No. 1 in Division 2, defeated Vista Murrieta, Bishop Amat and Mission Viejo in tournament games.
