The CIF Southern Section playoffs in boys and girls basketball start this week. First round action for boys will be Wednesday, with second round games played Friday. For girls, the schedule is Thursday and Saturday.
For boys teams in the Garden Grove-Stanton-Westminster area, in Division 2A, Garden Grove League champion Garden Grove will host Dos Pueblos. In Division 3AA, Western will host La Habra, Orange League champion Magnolia will host Arroyo and Santiago will host Santa Margarita.
In Division 3A, Pacifica will visit Temple City, while Rancho Alamitos will travel to South Hills.
Orangewood Academy will visit Liberty Christian in Division 6AA.
On the girls side, in Division 2AA, Orange League champ Magnolia will host Sunny Hills. In 2A, Orange will host Patriot.
In Division 3AA, Garden Grove League champ Garden Grove will host Beckman, while Western will travel to play Godinez. In 3A, La Quinta will host Gahr and Rancho Alamitos will host Ganesha.
Express League champion Orangewood Academy will host Redlands Adventist in Division 6AA.
