Arizona leads UCLA 27-26 at halftime of a physical game that is vital to both teams’ hopes of earning a first round bye at the Pac-12 tournament next month.

The top four teams in the final Pac-12 regular season standings receive first round byes.

Arizona (20-9, 11-5) began the day in third place and tied with Colorado (18-9, 10-5)  and Oregon (19-8, 10-5) in the loss column. UCLA is a game back in the loss column at 16-12, 9-6.

Both teams have struggled offensively. Arizona is shooting 32 percent from the field, UCLA 39.3. Bruin guard  Jerime Anderson leads all players with 10 points.
