PLACENTIA - El Dorado's balanced offensive attack capitalized on excellent field position in defeating Villa Park, 41-7, in a Century League football game Friday night at Valencia High.

The Golden Hawks (9-1, 5-0) started four of their seven first-half possessions in Villa Park territory.

In the first half, El Dorado running back Devin DeLeon rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns on six carries.

Quarterback Kane Wilson threw for 132 yards and a touchdown, and also scored on a 35-yard run.

The Golden Hawks' defense and special teams were equally impressive. The defense held the Spartans to 44 yards in the first half. Defensive back Sinjian Hathoot blocked a punt and returned it 5 yards for a first-half touchdown for El Dorado.

Parker Roberts caught nine passes for 104 yards and one score for Villa Park (1-9, 0-5).
