LOS ANGELES - Fairmont Prep running back Richard Johnson set county records for rushing touchdowns and points scored in a single game Friday as the Huskies overwhelmed Ribet Academy, 67-0, at Ribet. (Full game stats.)

Johnson ran for eight touchdowns, one shy of the CIF record, as he gashed the Frogs (0-10, 0-7 San Joaquin) with scores of 1, 10, 3, 13, 1, 55, 12 and 59 yards.

"His work ethic is unbelievable and he deserved it," Huskies (8-2, 6-1) coach Bobby Martinez said.
The senior set the tempo from the beginning, breaking through multiple tackle attempts on the opening drive in which he carried the ball four times for 36 yards and a touchdown.

He had five runs of 20 or more yards, ending the night by going 59 yards up the middle with 1:12 left in the third to establish the new county mark.

Johnson ran for three two-point conversions, finishing with 54 points.
