Schroeder throws six TD passes in Dana Hills romp

MISSION VIEJO - Dana Hills routed Capistrano Valley, 63-13, in South Coast play Friday night at Capistrano Valley High.
Dolphins quarterback Sean Schroeder led the way with six touchdown passes and a scoring run of 6 yards.
He finished with 319 passing yards. He played the first series of the second half before sitting down.
"It was a great night," the Duke-bound quarterback said. "We have such play-makers on this team it makes my job easy. We executed perfect."
Dana Hills is 4-3 overall, 1-1 in league; the Cougars are 3-4 and 1-1.
Dana Hills began the game with an 80-yard scoring drive capped by Dylan Denso's 29-yard touchdown catch. On the Dolphins next drive, Cole Altuzarra broke free for a 35-yard run and Dana Hills led, 14-0, six minutes in.
The Dolphins scored five more touchdowns before halftime and led 49-0.
During one stretch, Schroeder threw touchdowns on three consecutive passes of 10, 7 and 53 yards.
The Cougars struck on the opening drive of the second half when quarterback Brandon Brennan scrambled for an 11-yard touchdown.
Dana Hills closed its scoring on a 28-yard touchdown catch by Peter Adams and a 23-yard touchdown run from Brett Giesen.
Capistrano Valley scored once more when Bardia Rezaei punched it in from 1 yard out.
