Trabuco Hills tops Aliso Niguel, 31-7

MISSION VIEJO After losing its first three games, Trabuco Hills will be heading into Sea View League play on a high note.

The Mustangs scored the first 17 points of Friday’s game with Aliso Niguel and brought their record to 2-3 with a convincing 31-7 home-field victory.

A 13-yard pass from Jason Mayer to Justin Lasch opened the scoring late in the first quarter, and a 46-yard Mitch Murar field goal and Shane Decilio’s 4-yard run putting the Mustangs up 17-0.

Aliso Niguel (0-5)  scored in the final minute of the first half on Blake Lawrence’s 2-yard run.

It was all Mustangs from there as Dennis Simonsen scored from 2 yards out, and Mayer, who threw for 217 yards, completing a 41-yard strike on fourth down to Landon Maslyn to end the scoring as time expired in the third quarter.

Trabuco Hills’ Shane Decilio rushed for 78 yards on 21 carries.

Joe Galosic, who threw for 211 yards on 17-of-32 passing, led the Wolverines.
