Santa Margarita rallies to defeat La Costa Canyon

Ryan World connected with Logan Sweet in the fourth quarter to help visiting Santa Margarita (2-2) rally to a 18-14 victory against La Costa Canyon (2-2).

World completed 21 of 39 to finish with 303 yards and one touchdown and an interception.

After falling behind 14-12 at halftime, the Eagles were able to win by shutting out the Mavericks in the second half. World's touchdown was the only score of the second half.

Santa Margarita's David White ran for 60 yards on nine carries and Sean Willet caught eight passes to finish with 128.
