A midfielder for the Oilers’ field hockey team, Walter has also excelled in her academic studies. Her classes include AP Statistics, AP Environment Science, AP English 4, AP US Government/Economics. She is a member of the National Honors Society. This summer, Walter was selected to play on the U19 Western Regional Team that competed in the US Field Hockey Championships. Walter, who also competes for the Oilers track and field team, is hoping to attend and play field hockey at Columbia University in New York. She has current plans to major in Political Science with an emphasis in Environment Policy.
