A detailed look at the teams, top players and important games.
Coaches' predicted order of finish
1. Brea Olinda
The Ladycats, ranked No. 1 in the county's preseason poll, have one of the top freshmen in the county Justine Hartman to go along with All-County players Jonae Ervin and Kelsey Harris, who went to the state finals last season.
2. Villa Park
The Spartans have three sophomores that started as freshmen, so they still are young but they have experience. Nicole Ballestero and Brianna Salvatore give Villa Park a talented backcourt duo.
3. El Modena
Lauren Gross is one of the top post players in the county and should help the Vanguards make a run at a playoff berth.
4t. El Dorado
The Golden Hawks took their lumps last season and misssed the playoffs and they have a young, inexperienced group this season.
4t. Tustin
Taiyande Huskey will try to get the Tillers back in the playoffs once again.
6. Canyon
League victories will be hard to come by for the Comanches in this tough league.
