Century vs. Anaheim
SANTA ANA - A pair of forced turnovers led to an early lead that Anaheim never surrendered on the way to a 41-7 Orange League victory over Century on Friday night at Segerstrom High. (Full game stats.)
An interception by junior Phillip Marquez and a recovered fumble set up two scores for Anaheim (5-3, 2-1). On both possessions, the Colonists needed only a single play to find the end zone. Junior Kevin Dawson scored from 3 yards out, and Marquez ran one in from 15 yards out.
Despite the early deficit, the Centurions (2-6, 0-3) controlled the clock for the majority of the first half. Century only managed to score on a single drive. Junior Joshua Salgado found sophomore Ricky Canales for a 12-yard touchdown pass.

Midway through the third quarter, fullback Anthony Lopez took a handoff up the middle and barreled over two defenders on his way to a 12-yard touchdown. Lopez finished with 39 yards rushing.
For Century, senior Uriel Mora was the most productive force on the ground, rushing for 66 yards on four carries.
