The coaches: Tustin's Myron Miller (143-68 at Tustin); Foothill's Doug Case (88-60-1 at Foothill)

Outlook: Rivalry game! Foothill had Tustin's number for a long stretch, going 7-1 against the Tillers 2001-08. Tustin has beaten the Knights the past three years. Both teams looked good last week. Tustin rushed for 449 yards in a 48-13 home victory over Roosevelt of Eastvale. Foothill beat Fountain Valley, 28-14, as quarterback Jack Gilchrist threw two touchdown passes. The Knights' Moss twins, Julian and Jarrell, made big plays on offense and defense. Foothill got some key turnovers, two interceptions and fumble recovery, and the Knights will need to win the turnovers battle in this one. Give Tustin a short field, and it's over. Of course, the Tillers have a penchant for 80-yard, eight-minute drives, too. Gilchrist needs to be a bit more productive against Tustin (he was 9 for 17 for 175 yards last week) and the Foothill defense needs to stop Tustin on third-and-short and even fourth-and-long, because Tustin will go for it, successfully, too, when it seems illogical to do so.
