And that early commitment to a school that recently produced two Heisman Trophy-winning quarterbacks from Orange County helped seal the deal.

So there's not a lot of mystery about what quarterback is No. 1 in the ocvarsity.com countdown of the top 10 returning signal callers. But, hey, why not play along and at least pretend there's some uncertainty.

Besides, the rest of the top 10 might not seem so obvious.
