O.C. Preseason Top 10
1. University: The Trojans, who are the reigning Division 1 champions, return the majority of last year’s squad, including the Register’s 2011 Player of the Year and All-American, Gage Brymer, and top doubles players Drew Dawson and Tyler Lu.
2. Corona del Mar: Last year’s Pacific Coast League runner-up returns a handful of experienced upperclassmen from a team that reached the 2011 CIF-SS quarterfinals.
3. Woodbridge: Jake De Vries leads a seasoned group of returning juniors.
4. Marina: Despite losing All-County singles player Parker Glore to graduation, the Vikings look to build on last year’s 18-win campaign.
5. Sage Hill: The Division 3 champion Lightning return top singles player and Academy League MVP Robbe Simon and Academy League Doubles MVP Alex Manolakas.
