Century got swept this week, losing to both Anaheim and then first-place Santa Ana Valley. Valencia, too, also slipped up for the first time during Empire League play, getting shutout by Kennedy. Nathan Darosa had two assists in that game, and they both set up a Francisco Camacho goal for the Fighting Irish. So there are some changes coming this week in my vote for the top 10. Does Century still stay in? How about Kennedy to they get a spot? Well, one things for sure, Servite has got it in cruise control right now, winning both of their games last week, leaving little doubt that they are indeed the No. 1 team in the county. I have gotten a few questions recently why a team is ranked say No. 5 here but No. 8 in a story I might write on them. This is NOT THE OFFICIAL top 10!
