Dana Hills' Tim Butler is selected the boys cross country coach of the year for Orange County.
In his 35th season at Dana Hills High, Tim Butler guided the talented Dolphins to a banner season. For that, he is The Register's boys cross country coach of the year.
The Dolphins won the Orange County Championships, the Division I team sweepstakes title at Mt. SAC, the South Coast League title, the CIF-SS Division I team title and their second Division I state title, first since 1988.
Butler has led the Dolphins to three Orange County Championships, three CIF-SS titles and 17 South Coast League championships.
