DANE JAKO, SERVITE
The Friars, the top-ranked team in the county for the majority of the season, finished the year undefeated, with a record of 23-0 after shooting a course-record 169 in the regular-season finale at Western Hills. That score meant the Friars finished 6-under par as a team.
Servite won the South Regional in the CIF team competition and advanced to the team final at Rancho San Marcos in Santa Barbara.
At the team final, the Friars defeated Santa Barbara by a stroke to win the Southern championship.
