Preston Valder goes 5-under par to lead the Friars.
Preston Valder shot a 5-under-par 67 to lead top-ranked Servite to a 367-401 victory over Brea Olinda on Wednesday in an 18-hole nonleague golf match at Western Hills Golf Course.
Valder carded four birdies and an eagle as the Friars improved to 16-0.
In other nonleague golf:
Esperanza 201, El Dorado 203: Josh Boudreau carded an even-par 35 to lead the Aztecs (11-3) over the Golden Hawks (9-3) at Yorba Linda Country Club.
In the Sea View League:
Huntington Beach 196, Northwood 210: Allen Bennett shot a 1-under-par 35 and had two birdies to help the Oilers defeat the Timberwolves (4-7, 3-3) in a league match at Seacliff Country Club.
