Coaches’ predicted order of finish
1. Mater Dei
Comment: With the Wear twins, Travis and David, and Andy Brown returning starters from a state championship team, the Monarchs could be tough to beat.
2. Santa Margarita
Comment: Klay Thompson, Zack Zaragoza and Jaime Serna will make the Eagles a formidable challenge for any team, including Mater Dei.
3. JSerra
Comment: Rapidly improved program could be in the county top 5 all season.
4. Orange Lutheran
Comment: A younger team that should improve as the season progresses.
5. St. John Bosco of Bellflower
Comment: The Braves usually are athletic enough to compete in this tough league.
6. Servite
Comment: A new coach and a new up-tempo style could make the Friars an interesting team.
