Century League

El Dorado 42, Canyon 6: For the second year in a row, the El Dorado-Canyon game was supposed to be THE game in the Century League. And for the second year in a row, the Hawks made it one-sided in a hurry. Hawks quarterback Kane Wilson completed 12 of 15 passes for 224 yards and four touchdowns. On several of those completions, Wilson threaded the needle on passes over the middle with defenders on both sides. On a 41-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Allen in the third quarter, Wilson side-stepped a defensive lineman to avoid a sack. On the other end, a Canyon defender tipped the ball and Allen showed great concentration to come up with the catch. The Comanches just couldn’t get anything going. They couldn’t run up the middle or to the outside. Kevin McNiff had a sack and Cameron Davilla had an interception for El Dorado.

Brea Olinda 33, El Modena 20: Brea’s Michael Frisina kicked 30 and 46 yard field goals. Christia Campos had an interception and Jonny Lane and Casey Lawton each had a sack for the Wildcats.
