Woodbridge

Last season: 0-10, 0-5 (sixth place)

Postseason: 2001, lost to Foothill, 48-21, in Division VI first round

Coach: Rick Gibson (20th year, 88-107-9)

Outlook: The Warriors were young last season and took their lumps, but they return eight starters on defense which should give them a good base. Nate Loop takes over as the starting quarterback, but he will have some experienced players at wide receiver and running back and three of the five starters from last year’s offensive line back.

Home stadium: Irvine High

Factoid: The Warriors have a 15-game losing streak heading into this season.
