Trabuco Hills

Last season: 12-2, 5-0 (league champion)

Postseason: 2007, lost to El Dorado, 13-12, in Southwest Division finals

Coach: Jason Negro (sixth year, 32-26)

Outlook: The Mustangs return four starters on each side of the ball and will have a lot of newcomers to the varsity level. They have a strong offensive line but depth is an issue. They are deep at running back. Chris Triana and Mickey Meila lead a strong group of linebackers. The Mustangs are ranked No. 20 in the county's preseason poll.

Home stadium: Trabuco Hills High

Factoid: The Mustangs no longer have to share their home stadium with El Toro, which will use Laguna Hills' stadium this season.
