Five questions with Robbie Picazo:
Question: Who is the NFL player you see yourself playing like?
Robbie Picazo: I always liked John Elway because he played three sports — baseball, basketball and football. I play three sports. I don’t know if I play like him but I like him a lot. He went to Stanford. That’s where I want to go.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do, your favorite part of the game?
RP: A deep touchdown pass is nice. You just drop it in over him, a nice fade over the whole defense.
Q: What are your personal goals this season?
RP: First-team all-league, offensive player of the year.
Q: Do you think you belong in that group of the best quarterbacks in the county?
RP: I feel that I am. I just need to get bigger, eat a little more, put on some weight. Throwing-wise, I feel I’m right up there with them.
Q:What is something people don’t know about you?
RP: I have a 4.4 GPA. It’s usually pretty high. I have AP classes so I can get a little over 4.0. Both my parents went to Stanford, so I’ve always wanted to go there. You got to keep your grades up to go there.
