1. What do the players think about it possibly being harder to win games in 2008 after coming so close to winning a division title last year?
“We’re trying to win the title,” linebacker Chris Triana said. “That’s going to give us more motivation to get after it, get that extra point, that extra two points that we needed to win.”

2. And what do they think about having to replace so many players from last year?
“It’s all about how much we want it, not about how good we are, necessarily,” quarterback J.J. Mayer said.

3. Where do the players expect the character of the team to come from?
“The returning starters,” defensive back Mickey Miela said. “We have (six) returning starters sprinkled all over. Chris (Triana), myself and (linebacker Kyle) Pruitt were all vocal last year. We’re not going to have a problem bringing in those new guys this year.”
