South Coast: Biggest question, outlook

Biggest question to answer this spring:

Is Tesoro as confident as it was at the conclusion of 2007?

Outlook: The South Coast League remained in the Pac-5 Division, which is probably where it belongs. Tesoro is the league champion until someone beats it, although Mission Viejo is still Mission Viejo. Or is it? The Diablos actually had a losing season because of forfeits and has won just one playoff game the past two years. Of course that is one more than all other teams in this league combined. That could change as quarterback Allan Bridgford leads an experienced group that has to be pretty motivated. Meanwhile, the Titans and Tritons enter the season knowing the Diablos failed to beat either of them in 2007. Dana Hills can contend for the third playoff seed if quarterback Sean Schroeder gets some help.
