In the South Coast League:
No. 18 Mission Viejo 3, No. 1 Tesoro 0: Amanda Fernandez tossed a six-hit shutout as the Diablos upset the top-ranked Titans.
Mission Viejo's victory created a three-way tie for first place in league between the Diablos (15-9, 4-1), Tesoro (19-1, 4-1) and Aliso Niguel (15-8-1, 4-1).
Jennifer Richards went 2 for 2 with two RBIs, Janelle Gusiff went 1 for 3 with a run, Chelsea Tate went 2 for 2 with a run and Tayler Ybarra went 1 for 3 with a run to lead Mission Viejo's offense.
Sami Pappas allowed six hits and three runs to take the loss for Tesoro.
No. 10 Aliso Niguel 1, Capistrano Valley 0: Mandy Gardner struck out seven and recorded her second no-hitter to lead the Wolverines (15-8-1, 4-1) over the visiting Cougars (5-18, 0-5).
In the Sunset League:
No. 5 Marina 6, No. 4 Esperanza 2: Jamie Sullivan went 3 for 4 with a home run and four RBIs as the Vikings (19-3, 5-0) knocked off the host Aztecs (14-10-1, 3-2) for their seventh consecutive victory.
No. 15 Edison 9, No. 9 Los Alamitos 3: Jessica Plaza went 3 for 4 with a double, home run, two runs and three RBIs, Jessica Hernandez went 1 for 3 with three RBIs and Casey Africano had a solo homer to help the Chargers (15-5, 3-2) take out the visiting Griffins (18-7, 3-2).
In the Sea View League:
No. 21 El Toro 10, No. 12 Foothill 9: Shannon Tinsley went 4 for 4 with three homers to help rally the Chargers (11-14, 3-2) past the visiting Knights (13-7-1, 3-2).
No. 14 Trabuco Hills 2, Northwood 0: Kayla Massey pitched a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts and Mandy Gutierrez went 1 for 3 with a double and two runs for the Mustangs (16-6-1, 4-1) in a victory over the host Timberwolves (11-12, 3-2).
Huntington Beach 3, Woodbridge 2: Charlene Courtney scored on a close play at the plate on a grounder to second by Cory Schlinsog in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Oilers (11-12, 2-3) the victory over the visiting Warriors (7-16, 0-5).
In the Empire League:
No. 17 Pacifica 1, Cypress 0: Jaime Prussic went 3 for 5 with two singles and a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 12th inning as the Mariners (14-10, 4-1) outlasted the visiting Centurions (9-9-1, 4-1) and moved into a tie for first place.
Krystian DeWitt pitched all 12 innings, scattering six hits and striking out six to record the shutout for Pacifica.
Kennedy 8, Katella 0: Megan Macias hit a two-run homer in the fifth and Mariah Ramirez pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts as the Fighting Irish (11-8, 1-4) beat the visiting Knights (4-16, 0-5).
Loara 2, Valencia 0: Kayla Nash recorded a one-hit shutout, Cassie Barnes had an RBI single in the second and Nash came through with a sacrifice fly to drive in the other run in the fifth for the Saxons (8-12, 3-2) in a victory over the visiting Tigers (15-6, 3-2).
In the Freeway League:
No. 24 Fullerton 2, Troy 1: Marissa Pererya knocked in the winning run with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth to give the Indians (13-11, 4-1) the victory over the visiting Warriors (6-9, 1-4).
No. 23 La Habra 12, Buena Park 0: Kayla Klein pitched a no-hitter and Michelle Schrader went 2 for 2 with a double and three RBIs, Chelsea Sciacca had a double and two RBIs and Maleena Esparza went 2 for 4 with two RBIs as the Highlanders (14-7, 4-1) beat the host Coyotes (1-12, 0-4) in five innings via the mercy rule.
In the Garden Grove League:
No. 19 Rancho Alamitos 3, Garden Grove 2: Karen Mao drove in Kari Gutierrez with a one-out fielder's choice in the bottom of the ninth inning and the Vaqueros (14-4-1, 5-0) held on to beat the Argos (9-12, 4-1) to take sole possession of first place.
La Quinta 14, Bolsa Grande 0: Caity Caraballo recorded a no-hitter with eight strikeouts as the Aztecs (12-9, 3-2) beat the host Matadors (2-11, 0-5) in five innings via the mercy rule.
In the Century League:
No. 2 Canyon 8, Villa Park 0: Cheyanne Tarango pitched a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts and she hit a home run to help the Comanches (19-6, 5-0) beat the Spartans (9-11, 2-3).
No. 3 El Modena 7, Brea Olinda 0: Haylie Wagner tossed a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts to lead the Vanguards (17-8, 4-1) over the visiting Wildcats (9-9, 2-3).
El Dorado 6, Tustin 1: Emily Ceccacci went 3 for 4 with a triple as the Golden Hawks (2-13, 1-4) defeated the visiting Tillers (9-6, 1-4).
In the Pacific Coast League:
No. 11 Laguna Hills 14, San Juan Hills 1: Kelley Schroeder went 2 for 4 with three runs and three RBIs, Lauren Lastrapes went 3 for 5 with a run, a triple and two RBIs, Kylee Lahners went 3 for 5 with two runs, a double and a RBI and Corinne Wakefield went 2 for 5 with a run and two RBIs as the Hawks (16-5-2, 4-1) overwhelmed the host Stallions (4-14, 2-3).
No. 8 Beckman 18, Corona del Mar 0: Alison Kaprielian went 2 for 5 with a home run and five RBIs and Jasmine Watson went 2 for 4 with a homer and three RBIs for the Patriots (14-6, 5-0) in a mercy-rule victory over the host Sea Kings (4-15, 0-5).
Irvine 17, University 0: Jasmine Jenkins went 3 for 4 with a solo homore and Josie Tucker and Jen Walker collected three hits apiece for the Vaqueros (12-7, 3-2) in a mercy-rule victory over the visiting Trojans (8-7, 1-4).
In the Orange League:
Savanna 4, Santa Ana Valley 0: Tanya Dowler allowed one hit, no walks and struck out 11 to pick up the victory and Venessa Meza worked the seventh to get her first save as the Rebels (11-12, 5-0) beat the visiting Falcons (9-12, 3-2).
In the Olympic League:
Whittier Christian 4, Village Christian (Sun Valley) 3: Julianna Bohlen went 3 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs and the Herlads (18-3, 4-0) got a run in the bottom of the ninth to pull out a victory over the visiting Crusaders (17-3, 3-1).
In the Academy League:
Brethren Christian 7, Sage Hill 2: Kelsey Bartlett went 2 for 4 with and RBI and Heather Williams went 2 for 4 with an RBI to help the Warriors (6-3, 2-2) defeat the visiting Lightning (1-11, 0-3).
Oxford Academy 11, Capistrano Valley Christian 0: Melissa Gioino allowed two hits and struck out five and Alex Skinkis went 3 for 4 with a double and a triple for the Patriots (10-5, 3-0) in a five-inning mercy-rule victory over the host Eagles (5-11-1, 2-2).
In the Orange Coast League:
Calvary Chapel 6, Estancia 0: Amanda Gonzalez pitched a two-hitter with six strikeouts and Tori Marentis had a triple and two RBIs to help Calvary Chapel (15-6-1, 3-0) beat visiting Estancia (13-6, 2-1) to take sole possession of first place.
