Spears, who signed with Cal Poly SLO, had 16 points and 10 rebounds and she blocked a shot by Gabriella Hanson with 2.7 seconds left to preserve a 53-31 victory over No. 4 Troy in the Tony Matson Memorial Classic. She also had 12 points in a 69-41 victory over Villa Park and her 16 points and 14 rebounds helped the Ladycats defeat No. 5 Foothill, 68-49.
