More letter-of-intent signings
Fullerton had three baseball players sign letters of intent. Michael Lorenzen signed with Cal State Fullerton, Christian Belleque with Fresno State, and Dominic Ficociello with Arkansas.
Kennedy softball infielder Melissa Makey signed with Sacred Heart of Connecticut, her mother Patty confirmed. Mankey has played multiple infield positions for Kennedy, and likely will focus on third base in college.
Troy baseball catcher Brant Whiting signed with Stanford, according to his mother Lisa.
Amanda Horowitz, a softball player at Huntington Beach, signed with Boston College, Huntington Beach athletic director Roy Miller confirmed.
Villa Park golfers Alex Bungert signed with St. Mary’s and Corey Gard signed with Cal State Fullerton, Villa Park golf coach Chris Salio said. Bungert is defending Century League champion. Gard was all-league for the CIF champion Spartans.
Rosary soccer player Kaleigh Moses has been accepted into the Air Force Academy and will be playing the sport there, and Rosary softball player Alex Fieldhouse committed to East Carolina, Rosary athletic director Natalie Benson reported.
Rosary water polo center Katie Rigler has committed to Princeton, she said in an e-mail.
Edison goalie Clair Babinski and Laguna Hills’ Megan Minekime signed with San Diego State for women’s water polo. Both play club for SET.
