A roundup of boys golf highlights from Thursday:
Marina 179, No. 6 Los Alamitos 185: Jack Gallagher shot a 1-under-par 34 with two birdies for the Vikings (9-5, 2-3) in an upset victory over the Griffins (11-3, 4-1) in a Sunset League match at Meadowlark Country Club.
Kyle Frame shot even-par 35 and Jeff Fuzzard carded a 1-over 36 for the Vikings.
Shane Wathanasaynee made four birdies and finished with a 3-under 32 for the Griffins.
No. 1 Servite 185, St. John Bosco of Bellflower 208: Patrick Cantlay shot a 1-under 34 to lead the Friars over the Braves at Western Hills Golf Course.
Servite improved to 16-2 overall and 4-1 in the Trinity League.
