Morrison's stache vs. Welch's stache, plus updates
Santa Margarita QB Adam Young is listed at 6-2, 180 in the Santa Margarita program, which BTW costs $10 (WTF?!? Seriously!). But he plays like he's a 6-5, 250-pounder. When he gets going, he's not looking to get out of bounds. He's looking to lay some hits on some defenders.
Young has 144 yards on 13 carries and 157 yards passing.
Santa Margarita has a third-and-goal at the 10-yard line as the third quarter comes to an end with the Eagles leading Los Al, 28-0.
The Eagles settle for a 35-yard field goal by John McGrory and push their lead to 31-0 with 11:54 left in the game.
D.C. with an update from Servite vs. Chaparral at The Bowl: "Servite has been hit with a personal foul and unsportmanlike penalty on this Chaparral drive. (Servite coach) Troy Thomas has called a TO and has gathered the team around him for one of those keep your composure talks. He's called two consecutive timeouts. The message has been delivered."
Servite leads Chaparral, 21-0 with 5:49 left in the third. Hold up.
D.C. checking in: "TD Chaparral. Cole Perkins with a 15-yard TD pass to Josh Harris. Servite penalties certainly helped that drive."
Servite 21, Chaparral 7.
