OCVARSITY.COM

Segerstrom’s second-year boys water polo program could take a giant leap Tuesday with a victory against Ocean View in the Division 7 Golden West League.

The Jaguars are 5-0 in league and would take the inside track on capturing their first league title with a victory.

In the first match, goalie Danny Gomez made 24 saves for Segerstrom.

The match Tuesday is scheduled for Segerstrom at 3:15 p.m.

First-place Dana Hills (15-5, 5-0) won the first match, 12-11, but the Chargers have surged the past two weekends with an upset-victory against Newport Harbor and a seventh-place finish at the North-South Challenge in Atherton.
