Outlook: Longtime coach Bob Burt replaces Mike Cobleigh who resigned. Burt has coached high school football for 26 years in Southern California. He’s taking over a Cypress team that should be a force in the Empire League. The Centurions return seven starters (six on offense) including four offensive linemen. That’s a great place to start. Running back Jake Brito also returns. Getting the defense to jell together will be a key, since there is only one starter on that side of the ball.
