The CIF-SS wants additional discipline against boys basketball coach Reynolds.
The CIF-Southern Section has informed Villa Park that the school's boys basketball team will not be admitted into the playoffs unless it applies further discipline to boys basketball coach Kevin Reynolds, CIF-SS spokesman Thom Simmons confirmed Thursday.
Reynolds in early December served a two-day suspension, assessed by the Orange Unified School District and Villa Park, when the section found that the coach had violated undue influence rules.
The section had recommended a 10-game suspension.
Reynolds was unavailable for comment Thursday night. He has maintained he did not violate section rules.
