Secrest, a starting pitcher for the Sea View League champion Tritons, is also one of San Clemente’s best performers in the classroom and around the community. Her current classes are IB Theory of Knowledge, IB 20th Century Latin American History, IB Literature/Composition, IB Biology, IB/AP Spanish Literature, IB/AP Environmental Science, and IB/AP Calculus BC. Secrest, who is also a member of the Tritons golf team, is involved with the school’s Hiking Club, Environment Club, and Model Congress. She has also served her community through Assisteens. Currently tied for the No. 1 academic ranking in her class, Secrest will attend Columbia next year and has current plans to concentrate her studies on Prelaw and Economics.
