Monarchs rallied from 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Alemany, 53-42, in Pac-5 second round. Next: Vs. St. Bonaventure of Ventura at Ventura High, Friday.
2. Mission Viejo (11-1)
County's No. 1 team the past couple of weeks, Diablos lost to Long Beach Poly, 21-16, as Jackrabbits' defense stood strong in Pac-5 game. Season over.
3. Santa Margarita (9-3)
Defending Pac-5 champion Eagles lost in overtime to division's top-seeded St. Bonaventure, 27-21, in overtime. Season over.
4. El Toro (9-2)
Chargers were eliminated in first round by Santa Margarita, ending record-setting high school career of quarterback Conner Manning. Season over.
5. Edison (11-1)
Top-seeded Chargers rolled to 53-14 victory over Valencia in Southwest Division's second round; team's only loss to No. 1 Mater Dei. Next: Vs. Foothill at Orange Coast College, Friday.
6. Tustin (12-0)
Second-seeded Tillers, averaging 49 points a game, hit the mark with a 49-18 victory over Huntington Beach I Southwest second-round game. Next: Vs. Villa Park at Tustin High, Friday.
7. Tesoro (7-4)
Three of Titans' four losses to Pac-5 playoff teams, including division semifinalist St. John Bosco in Pac-5 first round. Season over.
8. JSerra (6-4)
Lions did not make playoffs, but ended season with victory over Orange Lutheran and lost to Pac-5 semifinalist St. John Bosco in overtime. Season over.
9. Orange Lutheran (6-4)
Lancers did not qualify for playoffs, but did beat La Habra by 20 points and lost to Santa Margarita by only three. Season over.
10. Villa Park (11-1)
Spartans advanced to Southwest Division semifinals with 26-21 victory over Newport Harbor. Only loss was to division's top-seeded Edison. Next: Vs. Tustin at Tustin High, Friday.
