TEMECULA Max Torres led Sage Hill in rushing with 81 yards in 12 carries and scored two touchdowns as the Lightning (6-1) defeated Linfield Christian (5-2), 36-35, in a nonleague game at Linfield Christian High.

Torres scored on runs of 1 and 2 yards. He scored the second touchdown with 41 seconds left in the game.
