University falls to Menlo in All-American final

Menlo of Atherton defeated top-seeded University, 5-3, in the championship match of the High School All-American Tennis Tournament on Saturday at Palisades Tennis Club in Newport Beach.
The Trojans led 2-1 after the doubles round, but lost 4-1 in singles. Freshman Gage Brymer won his set at singles. Along with Ryan Cheung, Brymer was named to the All-Tournament team.
Corona del Mar defeated Beacon School of New York on games, 44-43, in the consolation championship.
