Wilbur, Dana Hills stun No. 9 San Clemente in OT

In the South Coast League:
Dana Hills 10, No. 9 San Clemente 9 (OT): Junior Molly Wilbur scored five goals, including the winner at the end of the second three-minute overtime, to help the visiting Dolphins (13-11, 2-2) stun the county and CIF-SS Division 2 ranked Tritons (9-14, 2-2).
Wilbur scored the only goal of overtime on a cross-cage lob shot from about 4 meters as time expired in the second three-minute overtime period.
The victory moved the Dolphins into a second-place tie with San Clemente and gives them a split in the league series with the Tritons.
“It turns out to be a pretty big win for us,” first-year Dana Hills coach Chad Beeler said.
Madison Baba and Julianna Burke each added two goals for Dana Hills.
In the Sea View League:
Aliso Niguel 9, Capistrano Valley 7: Anastazia Virgin made 17 saves for the visiting Wolverines (14-9, 4-1).
In the Pacific Coast League:
Irvine 7, Woodbridge 3: Paulina Urbanski made 12 saves and Alexandra Swift scored three goals to help the Vaqueros (9-10, 3-3) move into third place.
